Community Baptist Church

The major focus of MM on the ground is helping churches and ministries evaluate where they are, and then get better, one church (or ministry) at a time.

We want our Web-design services to mirror that vision. MM will evaluate your current site and discuss possible options. If necessary, we’ll design a whole new website and then provide a 1-2 day training to teach someone in your congregation how to run the new site. As a part of the web design ministry we also offer to help each church or ministry find a cost effective way to record sermons, convert them into .mp3 format, and make them playable on the site. The training you will receive will teach you to manage your own site. We can also provide some tips on starting a sermon video page and connecting the site with Youtube. MM’s goal is not to become host to thousands of websites, but rather to equip churches, ministries, and ministers to build and maintain their own, very simple, but effective website. Even if you think there’s no one in your church who can do it, we’ll set it up so they can. My own church is a church of 30 so I understand the needs and challenges of small church ministries.

So, practically speaking, what we offer is a website similar to the examples displayed throughout this page, and a basic training in how to maintain the site. Naturally, the site will be customized to fit your church’s preferences, and its own particular vision. Also, we leave the lines open if you ever have any questions down the road. Cost?

The one question everyone wants answered is “what’s the cost.” MM is a faith based ministry. We operate all of our services by faith giving. What that means is that we do not charge a fee for what we do. If pressed, we can give a ball park figure for the cost, but ultimately all the services are donations made to MM for the furthering of the ministry’s purposes. We simply ask that you consider your budget, and the cost you might have incurred if you were to pay another company to provide the same services, and donate that amount to the ministry.

Last, I should note that, if it is done right, the church may incur the cost of website domain (ie www.YOURCHURCHNAME.com) and/or hosting. These are costs you’d have to pay to set up a good website anyway and the price is pretty minimal (A single domain name is around $10/YR). That cost would not be paid to MM but to whatever company you decide to purchase the domain and hosting from (we’ll recommend, and help set this up, when the time comes).
